“Mystic India: The World Tour.”

Broadway-style show set for campus March 21

A traveling show will demonstrate ancient India’s transition into modern India at a UW-La Crosse performance.

Mystic India: The World Tour,an internationally acclaimed Bollywood dance, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, in the Bluffs, in the Student Union, 512 East Ave. N.

The show features musicians, dancers, aerialists and acrobats, and hundreds of luxurious costumes. The costumes and elaborate sets have been custom designed in India’s film capital by a team of 40 designers and workers over the course of two years. The team of diverse dancers combines authentic Indian and modern techniques, joining the streets of Mumbai and New York.

Tickets are $6 for UWL students and $8 for others in advance. Ticket prices double the day of the show. Those showing a receipt from February’s “Manitowoc Minute” performance at UWL will get a $2 discount. Get tickets and more details at the Student Union Information Counter or 608.785.8873.
