Our operational status

  • The Records and Registration Office is open with limited staff during normal business hours, 7:45am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. All campus buildings require face masks to be worn. Complimentary masks are by the door when you first enter the building.
  • Rather than come in person, we are also available by phone (608.785.8951 or 608.785-8952) and email ( during the same normal business hours.
  • Ordering transcripts online is available 24-7. Please see our Transcripts Request page for the link.
  • If new health protections require the limited staff to return to working from home, transcripts that are requested to be sent through regular mail may take a week or longer to be processed.

Our expertise in student records, curriculum, and University academic policies and procedures helps to provide quality services to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community.

  • Administering classroom reservations
  • Confirming academic eligibility for student athletes
  • Providing benefit services to our student veterans and their family members

Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) provides that, with certain explicit exceptions, students have the right to determine who will see their educational records (confidentiality) and students have the right to see their education records (accessibility).
