This guide explains the purpose of the SIP and how use of the rubric differs when used to evaluate a Field I or II experience versus evaluation of a Student Teaching placement. - Standards in Practice (SIP) Rubric
The SIP Rubric is used for evaluation of a teacher candidate during all phases of field experience: Field I, Field II, and Student Teaching. During a Student Teaching placement, the SIP Rubric is used for both the mid-term and final evaluation of the teacher candidate.
